Everyday Dentistry for Your Family

Professional Cleanings and Exams

Visit our dentist, Dr. Devren Anderson, at least twice a year so we can help keep your smile healthy and bright. During a routine cleaning, we will effectively remove plaque, tartar, and debris to give you clean teeth, fresh breath, and reduce the risk of cavities and gum disease. A thorough check up, or exam, involves a complete inspection of your teeth, gums, jaws, soft oral tissues, head, and neck. We also understand that your family’s time is valuable, so we provide dental care as efficiently as possible.

Oral Cancer Screening

Oral cancer afflicts over 30,000 Americans annually, and the disease can be fatal. Even if you do not smoke, you can develop oral cancer. Dr. Anderson worked in oral surgery before opening a family dental practice, so he is uniquely qualified to screen for the early signs of oral cancer that are often overlooked. Mouth cancers can be quite aggressive, so early detection and treatment are your best defense.

Dental Technology

Many of our returning patients are surprised at the technological updates we constantly make. We believe in giving our professional staff the best tools to do their jobs, which is why we invest in the latest dental technology. If a computed tomography (CT) scan is warranted, we have a machine in the office. In addition, each exam room has a TV monitor which we use to project digital x-rays and intraoral camera images, so you view any oral health conditions that need to be addressed.

Oral Surgery

In addition to negatively affecting your smile, oral disease and damage can create the need for surgical intervention. Backed by years of surgical training, Dr. Anderson performs bone grafts, dental implant placement and restoration, and wisdom tooth extraction. Our number one goal is to make your mouth healthier using the most conservative treatments.

Sedation Dentistry

Some people have dental phobia, a sensitive gag reflex, or do not respond well to nitrous oxide. Others require extended treatment sessions that can cause physical discomfort from sitting in the dental chair with an open mouth for hours. To improve patient comfort, we offer both nitrous oxide and other forms of minimal oral sedation. We are committed to your comfort while you are with us, from the waiting room to the exam chair.

Pediatric Dentistry

Our family-centered philosophy drives our compassionate approach to care. Dr. Anderson and our team happily see young patients, and we can also refer children to a pediatric dentist when appropriate. We will treat your kids the same way we treat you: openly and honestly in a relaxing environment.

Sleep Apnea

Snoring and sleep apnea can cause serious overall health problems, ranging from exhaustion to heart attack. Dr. Anderson treats sleep apnea and snoring with a simple oral appliance that holds the lower jaw slightly forward to keep the airway open while the patient sleeps. For patients who cannot tolerate a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machine, a sleep appliance can often be effective.
